Voting Question: Are there any Texas sound laws (Dallas, Irving, Fort Worth)?

Ok I am shipping my Jeep from Columbus, OH to Dallas, TX where I have moved. My Jeep has quite a bit of audio power. 2 12" Kenwood Subs, 4 Alpine Type-S 6.75" door speakers, and still has stock dash speakers. My Subs have a 300 Watt RMS 8105D Kenwood Mono amplifier. And I will upgrade later to 2 Alpine Type-S 12" subs, and a 500Watt Kenwood 9105D amp, and add a Kenwood 8405 4 channel 240Watt RMS Amp. So I was wondering seeing as it is loud, does Texas have sound laws in the following Area's I should be aware of? Dallas, Irving, and Fort Worth. As I a Linux administrator and IT for my company (the reason why I moved is because I got this job). And I don't want to be getting tickets. But at least I feel safe knowing I am never moving to California as they will rip the stereo out. I know in Columbus, OH I could blare as loud as I wanted between 7:00AM-10:00PM. Also please tell any other cities in Texas that have such laws please. And what are there criteria to be getting a ticket?... Read More »
