Voting Question: Where to rent a Corvette in D/FW?

I am wanting to rent a Corvette just for 1 day (technically just the evening). I'm taking my daughter to a concert and she is a Corvette "freak"...I guess dads Lexus isnt good enough! Anyhow, I'd like to surprise her by picking her up from school in a Corvette and taking her to the concert and then returning the car the next morning. I live in Las Colinas (Irving, TX). I've only been able to find one company that does it but they want $350 to rent a Corvette that's 4 years old and is a standard transmission. The standard transmission is fine but I dont want to rent a 2007-2008 Corvette. I'm assuming Avis, Budget, type places do not have this type car so does anyone know of places in Dallas/Ft.Worth that rents them?... Read More »
